Nice camping spot. We originally had a back-in spot but wasn't appropriate for our 36' rig. Melissa upgraded us to a pull through, which was perfect, no leveling needed. I 80 runs parallel with the campground, but the noise wasn't bothersome to us. We try to find campgrounds close to the interstate when traveling to our destination spots. Thank you Melissa, for helping us with the switch.
This is a very nice campground, and the management is excellent and very nice people! They do fun activities for kids and even adults!!! The bathrooms were always clean! If you haven’t been there, try making it out to check it out! Me and my family will definitely return plenty more times!!!!
Melissa at Cedar River was so helpful to us when the spot we reserved was not a good fit. It was a nice campground with mature shade trees. Lots of family friendly stuff to do. Only thing was the expressway noise but it was fine with a fan to drown it out.
When I arrived in Iowa, I was faced with finding a place to stay with my travel trailer last minute. Melissa at Cedar River was awesome to work with. Even in the midst of trying to attend to a downed tree branch that she needed to clear in the camp, Melissa stopped what she was doing to help me get into a space. The facility was clean and maintained and access to the sites was clear and easy to navigate. I highly recommend staying at Cedar River Campground. My trip was four weeks and I never had an issue or problem and any questions I had were immediately answered. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip out to Iowa! Thanks for a great experience. Tom
We absolutely love this campground! The owners are nice and extremely helpful. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. My kids love the pool, snack bar and the pool house. We especially loved candy bar bingo! Is next to the I-80 but that has never bothered us. I don’t notice the sound until someone asks about it. Permanent spots are close, but again that doesn’t bother us, especially with awesome neighbors. Great rates! Fun activities on the weekend! Super quick to cleanup after storms.
