Customer Reviews
We stayed here for an extended period and it was an overall great experience. Family run, family oriented park where the owner goes out of their way to take care of the campers, short and long term. All the amenities you could need, and laundry is a great price. Great trails just across the tracks as well. Everyone is wonderful to deal with, I miss them already!
Our family REALLY enjoyed our time here. We spent 4 nights in a beautiful shaded spot which fit our tent trailer and suv perfectly. Our kids ages 4.5 and 3 utilized all the park had to offer: pool, playground and there was an electric ride on train that was all lit up and the kids loved that! Lots of space for the kids to ride their bikes and colour with chalk. The shower and bathrooms were clean and there was even a laundry area with washing machines and dryers. The family who runs the park are super nice and welcoming. We also heard they sell home made pizzas, which I guess we missed out on! Overall, great place to stay with kids and would stay again!
We couldn’t have had a better experience. Initially booked for 2 nights, but Jeeves was so welcoming that we stayed one more night in the car, and booked 3 nights in a cabin. The grounds are so well maintained, the pool was so clean, and the fellow campers and those who live on the grounds full time were so kind. The showers were super clean, water access was perfect and waste disposal was great! There were families with kids and an amazing playground for them. We’re driving a Tesla and Jeeves had a level 2 charger for us and lots of EV enthusiasm! Couldn’t ask for more from a campground and host/community. Jeeves is the man!
Just left this place and was super happy with the campsite. This was my first camping experience (if you don't include a yurt, lol). I had anxiety about what to expect and what to bring. They had clean bathrooms and showers, as well as provided electrical ports for the tents. The cabins looked really cool too. Pool and park was great for our small kiddos. Garbage and recycling bins were present. Jeeves and his family were amazing! We're already planning on going back.
AVOID THIS. It's a dump (almost literally). Garbage is strewn about along with half finished projects, and old machines. There is no soft ground for tents, and if it rains, you're in a mud bath. We reserved for 3 nights, but wanted to leave as soon as we arrived because of the constant gun shots from the forest. Apparently, it's beside the gun club. We asked for a refund on the nights we didn't stay and we're told "NO REFUNDS." The main building is falling apart, with clogged rain gutters pouring water into the path to the bathrooms. The BATHROOMS are broken and practically out of service. It's almost a scam compared to the wonderful campgrounds in the area...FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO CAMP.
