Very quiet campground except for your occasional screamers in the middle of the night on the weekends when they have had to much to drink. I wish they didn’t charge as much in the off season especially when they don’t allow water on but I get they need to protect their pipes…..but a huge inconvenience when your paying full price. They did decorate the front gate entrance Area with Christmas lights which I’m trying to remember, I think is new this year!

A bit annoyed that you can only make reservations on one of the three campgrounds. Site was decent but not very level. Bathrooms weren't the scariest but waking up before park hours you might run into someone who is homeless and has driven to the park just to shower. Seems like a good homeless pro tip but something I've never seen before. I think it's just a bit too close to the city and not remote enough for us. Might stay again if we ever upgrade to an RV...but otherwise we'll try to find something else next time we're in Oklahoma.

Beautiful lake, great playgrounds and lots of friendly workers to help keep it a gorgeous clean lake!! Nice showers and restrooms with handicap seats if needed. Camping sites are always very clean and laid out perfectly!

Pros: Lovely surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price. Cons: You might have to clean up the site before you set up. There was trash scattered around the site and garbage left in the campfire ring. It was dark when I set up my tent, or I would’ve set up at a different site. Having said that, there was garbage scattered throughout the tenting area.

Central state campground - No Reservations- This is a great staging spot to go into Oklahoma City. The issue are many of the sites are not level we’ve taken pictures of the ones that we would recommend. We would also recommend the first 3 full hook-up sites that are in the center. All of these sites have 30 or 50 amp and are close enough to water so you can take your hose. AT&T and Verizon are both 5G. They have recently renovated their electric. Recommend coming in on a Monday Tuesday or Wednesday

Central Park is an absolute gem in the heart of New York City and a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. Spanning 843 acres, this iconic park offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're a nature lover, history enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful stroll, Central Park has something for everyone. The highlights are endless: the picturesque Bow Bridge is a romantic spot often seen in movies, while the Bethesda Terrace and Fountain provide breathtaking architecture and vibrant energy with street performers and visitors enjoying the view. The Ramble, a serene woodland area, is ideal for birdwatching or simply getting lost in nature. Don't miss Strawberry Fields, a tranquil tribute to John Lennon, or Belvedere Castle, which offers stunning panoramic views of the park and city skyline. For families, the Alice in Wonderland sculpture is a whimsical favorite for children to climb and explore. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the park's 6-mile loop for running, biking, or walking. No matter the season, Central Park's beauty shines through—lush greenery in summer, golden foliage in fall, snow-dusted paths in winter, and blooming flowers in spring. Whether you're enjoying a quiet moment by Turtle Pond or exploring the park's rich history through guided tours, Central Park is an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of New York City. Highly recommended!

We took our dogs on the paved trail here, it's handicap accessible. Lots of wildflowers and birds to see. True to the Oklahoma area the lake is a disappointing muddy color as almost all lakes around these parts, but that's what's here.
