Chalk Creek Canyon Cabin & Vacation Rentals

We stayed in the Aspen Grove cabin in July and it was wonderful. Brent was so nice and the cabins are close to great fishing and hiking. It was so peaceful just sitting on the back porch in the morning and watching the hummingbirds. Perfect for our family of six and we will definitely be back!

My time at Cabins at Chalk Creek in October was so enjoyable---an opportunity to feel like I stepped back in time to a more peaceful, slow paced life. I haven't even posted the additional views from mini trips I took from this homey base. Beautiful country,, and so glad Doug is keeping the history alive!

My last review was taken down and I am not sure why? I mentioned staying in the cabin a few months back. I wasn’t the one who rented the cabin but was with a bigger party. I was going to rent from them because for the most part we enjoyed our stay. However, we were a little creeped out by the older gentleman that runs the property I believe when the owner is away. He was a bit bothersome. The vibe we got was off putting. Furthermore, I review a lot of places and find it interesting that my review was taken down. That only 5 star reviews for the most part are up. Integrity is key when running a business. Not everyone who is reviewing is the direct renter or buyer etc. I know this is proper property although across the street there is similar names cabins that I will most likely try to rent from. Just be aware if you stay here. People come to mountains for peace and tranquility. Some light maintenance is okay but not seeing this person all the time.

We stayed at cabin this past weekend. It was great I highly recommend!!!! The hosts are the nicest people so friendly and helpful . Beautiful cabin very clean and has everything you need . We will definitely be back.
