Beautiful place to camp. I will say the spaces are very small. We have a 29ft 5th wheel barely fit and pretty much no room for anything else. The views were so beautiful and not pricey. Saw lots of Pop up tents and people tent camping it was about 45 minutes from julian. I would definitely go again. Nice place for a little hiking. Definately a great place for family photos with great landscaping.
Paid $10 to park and walk around the lake but it's a beautiful spot and well worth it. There were Porta potties around, and a nice flat(ish) walking trail around the little Fletcher "island". Theres some paved path but most of it is rocky and a little slippery with pine needles. The restaurant (other side of the lake where you launch boats) is closed, looks like its changing ownership. Oh well, will be back anyway
Very friendly! Tent and RV sites as well as cabins. So peaceful! Many trails for walking, hiking, and biking. Kayaking on the lake a treat! I did see a lovely big trout pulled from the lake by a happy fisherman. Very clean restrooms as well as spot a pots. Shower available -- bring quarters. There is a shop nearby with essentials. Treat yourself at the excellent Romanos in nearby Julian. Just the the scent of the sauce was a feast. We enjoyed Eggplant parm and Spiedini with oyster stew and salad, and were delighted with all, especially the tiramisu.
Great place for camping and embracing my inner nature lover!
We love this place great waking paths and beautiful lake
