We really liked this campground! We stayed on the pond side, and loved how big the sites were! It rained pretty hard and it never got overly muddy. Really huge and fun beach and a heated pool. I loved that the boat rentals were also free! I highly recommend the pond side of the campground! We went memorial day weekend and they hosted a craft fair and parade which were both an awesome addition to the weekend! Cons: it was a cold weekend so I was planning on spending a lot of time at the park but there really wasn’t one. Also it’s 10 dollars per person per day to go on the floating the lake which is steep! You also have to cross the highway to get to the pool or pond, depending on which side you stay. Overall though great campground and we will be back!

One of our favorite campgrounds! They have a restaurant on site the only downfall that we have found is it's always hot in there! Otherwise the food and everything is great! As a camper you have to still pay to use the inflatables it's not included in the camping cost. Sites are a nice size as well!

The camp ground is beautiful, full hookups, large sites! Allow pets. There is a part of the camp ground across the street where they have huge inflatables and clear water for the kids. Life jackets provided (and required), my daughter loved it. There is a place on site for food if you don't want to cook. Will definitely be back. PS: If you stay at KOA's, this is definitely on par with those, but they don't pack you in so close like the KOA's. PSS: I returned a week later with my four grandchildren. They absolutely loved it and I enjoyed the time with them. The pool is crystal clear, well maintained and as a former CPO for 10+ years, that means a lot when your children are involved! John keeps this gem in tip top shape, every aspect of it. We rented one of the campers, ample space, clean and completely set up with everything you'd need except bedding/towels, but they tell you that when you reserve.

We stayed here recently. It's a very nice campground, well-kept, with plenty to do, or not to do, if that's what you choose. I especially appreciated the owners going way above and beyond to be helpful to us when I had vehicle problems that caused me to extend my stay longer than planned.

Always wanted to try this campground. It could be a goldmine, with some thought and investment. It is a rustic facility, with some modern ammentities. If you are looking for something between a State Park and Private, then this might be for you. We have not been to any campground that wasn't full, so we're surprised when this place was half filled, at most. Pros: -Large grassy sites -W/E/S and W/E sites -Small office/Store with only some basics -reasonable price $58 for a full hook up pull through -New bath house with pay showers -Nice pond segregated for swimming, dogs and fishing -Small pool Cons: -Cannot see availability or book online. Have to call, pay with CC (or mail a check) and they mail a confirmation. Not even an email option. -Everything seems to come at a price, even the inflatable pond toys. $10 per person, per day to get a life jacket and be able to use the Waterpark inflatables -Pool is small, and NO food or beverages allowed. Who does that any more. 90 degrees at the pool and you cannot enjoy a beer and snacks while you watch your kids -Public is allowed in anytime to use the pond, weekdays or weekends. Never felt crowded, but but you never knew who was camping and who was just there -State highway splits the campground in half. -NO outside wood, and $12 per bucket if you want a fire. We did notice the seasonal having sizeable wood piles, so maybe a double standard? We wondered why nobody had campfires, then quickly figured it out. If no iutside wood allowed, then make the price at the campground reasonable to purchase -ALL dogs to be leashed at all times, except Staff and Management, who seem to think it's ok to have them on their carts and roam free when they are working around the facility In general, everyone was friendly and available to help. At the end of our stay, we determined this would be a place we would consider again, but only if we had no other place to go. With some minor changes, better management, update reservation process and relax the position on wood and we might make it a regular place and bring friends, just not at this time. Time for Management to visit other campgrounds that are flourishing to see how to get it done better.
