Customer Reviews
Stayed here for a couple nights while visiting a friend in Denver. The campground was clean and beautiful. If you wanted to spend more time there, the park as a whole is massive. There is a giant lake that you can go and do recreational activities on. There was a couple smaller lakes if you want to do paddle boarding or kayaking without having to worry about big waves from the larger boats. Across the lake from the campground is a massive fenced-in dog park where you even let your dogs run crazy. The park is something like 60 acres, so make sure your dog is well trained or you're going to go on a goose chase to find them.
Winter camping so quiet and the main bathroom has laundry services and hot showers accomodation for our 40 ft camper with electric lots of bike paths and hiking trails if your lucky you"ll see dear plenty of places to throw your trash away
Be aware the campground is WAAAAY back in there like 5 miles from the entrance so keep going and follow the signs. The sites are awesome and not right on top of each other. Lots of trees around. Very quiet and clean. We didn't visit the bathrooms and only stayed one night but it was a very nice spot to stop on our way through. Beautiful sunrise pictures from here too.
We stayed in April. Not all the bathrooms were opened. The main one with showers and coin operated washing and drying machines was open where we were staying in B loop. A short walk from site B67 . The building was well lit and very clean. The Marina had a little store and grill opened on the Sunday we stayed. The campsite was clean and had a fire ring and grill. Beautiful view. I'd like to stay here again to maybe kayak or use the many biking trails.
Stayed here for a week. The water was great, shorelines as expected, what you should see at the beach. Hookups are at sites. Groundsman are very punctual and keep the grounds maintained. Sewer dump is clean an functional. Easy to navigate around the campgrounds. We had a 30ft trailer and a full size Silverado. This is so close to us we will be coming back for a weekend getaway. My family loved it. There is shopping nearby.
