Chatham Lakes Campground

I have been camping here nine years and in the past three it’s only gotten better. It’s a beautiful place family friendly everybody’s friendly and welcoming. Very clean place a lot of activities for the children. Very quiet not rowdy at all. Highly recommend for a Campground as a family get away couple or just a single person. It’s a beautiful place lots of nice restaurants around and other activities.

We recently moved to Chatham Lakes this past summer after camping elsewhere for eight years and I can’t believe the difference. Let me start by saying that Cindy is extremely flexible and runs this camp exactly as it should be run. They offer a wide range of diverse activities for their campers and it’s apparent just how engaged that the people that camp here are. There is such a positive atmosphere here not only with the staff but also with the community of people that camp here. I am personally so happy that I made the move to camp here and plan on spending many more of my summers here and making many more happy memories. Thank you Chatham Lakes for being such an amazing place to spend our weekends!

We're seasonals that were displaced from another campground that we camped at for 16 years. Coming here we worried about the lack of amenities we had been used to, but there wasn't anything to worry about. The owners are very friendly and work tirelessly from dawn til dark to improve and update the park. The ponds are beautiful and clean. My kids have no trouble swimming in the lake. I'm a harder sell, but that's ok because there is a plan for a pool to be added next season! There are plenty of fish in each of the ponds and the kids enjoy catching them. They are working hard to get community building activities going(Friday bingo, monthly potlucks) and the band they had for Memorial weekend was outstanding! The rules and expectations for campers are quite reasonable for that of a family friendly campground. They had no trouble offering ample parking and a simple sign in for guests when we had my husband's 50th birthday party. We also found the golf cart trails this weekend and can't wait to explore those more in the coming weeks! Prices are fair and folks are very friendly. We're happy to have made the move.

We recently moved here from camping elsewhere for 8 years. We love it here so much because the people that camp here are so much nicer than they were at our last place and there is so much more to do! Our spot is bigger and Cindy is really nice and flexible! We are looking forward to spending many years here and watching our grandchildren enjoy the abundance of activities. Wish we would have came here years ago!!

We love this campground. There is so much to do , and it’s very well ran. The new owners have put so much work into it . They added a new beautiful pool and pool area. They really care about their guests. They had to jump through so many hoops, and spend so much money to make this happen for everyone.But they never gave up on their vision. They go above and beyond for their campers. Especially the kids. The owners love seeing the kids smile and enjoy themselves. What I love most about it is they have a no drama and nonsense policy. There has been so many changes made in just the few years I have been coming. It keeps getting better as they go. I love the office staff as well . Cindy is such a sweet lady. She doesn’t take any nonsense and she will make sure things are handled promptly. This is a must visit for your camping endeavors ❤️

This is my 3rd season camping here at Chatham and we love it! my whole family camps here as well, we take up about 6-10 sites around the campground. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The new pool added last season is well taken care of with lots of spots for sun bathing ☀️ there’s an abundance of dog lovers here. the campground is well kept.

The playgrounds were broken and unsafe. The main pond at the front had a deceased goose washed up on the shore. The lots are spaced closed together and swampy we got our truck stuck and had to get it towed out. We purchased a trailer that was being kept at this campground and was paid up to April for the lot. We considered keeping it here longer to wait for the ground to dry up so we had more time to haul the deck and other stuff, but the manager of the campground was rude. We came to camp and work on getting our trailer home yesterday and found she had closed the gate, it was open the previous weekend and we had stayed in our camper. We called her and she refused to open it for us claiming she needed some kind of permission from the previous owner of the trailer despite us having the title in hand. The previous owner had to come out today and let us in to get our trailer. I’m not sure why anyone would choose and pay to stay at this campground there’s really nothing positive about it. Mud filled crowded lots, broken playgrounds, dirty pond, rude management.
