Wonderful hosts with a very accommodating property. Our horses were happy with plenty of room in their paddocks. The trail system was top tier, and our personal guide (Jay the owner) was too! Thank you Kes and Jay for a wonderful weekend getaway!
We loved our last minute stay here! We had our horses and wanted to check out whetstone and do some river crossings. The accommodations are so cute! Very clean and well thought out - we felt our space was very private even having other people stay close by. The hosts were so helpful with the trails and we even bought hay off them to stay longer! The whetstone trails are awesome! A bit rugged in a good way- my solid barefoot horse was fine but probably recommend boots/ shoes. The river is stunning! We actually rode them swam and suntanned for a while 🤣🤷♀️ This was a wonderful gem of a stay!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
What an absolutely perfect and beautiful property! The owners are outstanding!! They are so kind and really make you feel at home. The campsites are spacious and have everything you need including picnic tables. The rooms are amazing with every little detail beautifully laid out to truly give you the rustic mountain lifestyle vibe. The paddocks are great with easy access to water. Horse trails are super close by (no need to trailer your horse for trail access) All around this was the best experience i could have ever asked for!!! I could go on for hours. I highly reccomend this establishment!!!! We cannot wait to return!!! Thank you Jay and Kes for sharing your gem of a property with us :)
Another great time staying at Chattooga Trails Bed and Barn! Kes and Jay always make sure I’ve arrived and settled in with everything I need to enjoy my time on their property. Our favorite campsites are 4/4B because they are pull throughs and you can easily fit two trailers and not unhook. The campsite has water, electric and a fire pit. All of their paddocks are spacious with room for two horses. Even if your not a horse rider, they have rooms in their beautiful home to rent plus a glamping wagon! There are lots of places in the area to hike to see awesome waterfalls, go tubing or kayaking or fly fishing like our husbands did. I look forward to more visits to Chattooga Trails Bed and Barn and am so happy to have met Kes and Jay!
We really enjoyed our time at Chattooga Trails Bed & Barn this past week. Jay and Kes are very friendly and helped to provide us with great recommendations of places to go in the area during our stay. It's just a short ride from their beautiful property to the Whetstone trails. On the days that we didn't ride, there were tons of fun things to do in the area.
