The place is quite nice and makes you feel so connected with nature. And it's close to stores, which is a plus for road trips to other states! It's definitely a great stop to rest and continue on the road!
You got arrive early. Or you can wait in hopes somebody will leave. Fun for the whole family. Great for day get aways or a nice picnic. Highly recommend. And don't get lost do not turn on the road you see 1st keep going. Let those people and there property be. Read the signs and respect the land.
Avoid this campsite!! The vault toilets haven't been cleaned out in quite a long time that it has created an ammonia gas being released. This is extremely toxic!! We never saw the camp host and their site was a complete shambles. What a shame.
It was a men's camping trip and it was awesome. Even the park restroom was clean.
This is a beautiful place to stay right by the creek . Unfortunately the people in charge are toxic the boyfriend has a tattoo right on his forehead like some kind of demon . Also there dog will attack your dog and might leave it injured. I would recommend this place if they remove the people in charge .
This is a busy group campground with 3 separate group sites, but is situated on the edge of Oak Creek with easy access, it's also in town and very close to trail systems.
