Really nice basic campground. Excellent location alongside a very peaceful meandering riverbank with lots of opportunities for fishing. Nice open level Safari field with plenty of pull through. Not a ton of amenities, but that’s fine with me. This is also one of the most quiet campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at on the weekend.will definitely be back
Had an excellent weekend camping there. There was plenty of activities for the kids(which we didn't have any with us) Great time at bingo and at the band "Dean's List. Looking forward to going back next year. Only suggestion is to put some type of bathroom closer to the band.
Our camp site was fairly nice, on the creek and very open. There were so many rules, you can tell they want their money. I was excited for the amenities for my son but most of it was run down. I didn’t find the staff friendly at all, they are monitoring everything. When our ac stopped working they blamed us for popping the breaker and said if it happened again it wouldn’t be turned back on. Won’t be returning
I tent camped here one night last week and thought it was just wonderful. The campground staff were very friendly and welcoming and the tent camping area was secluded, nicely maintained, and beautifully quiet. The pool is currently being refurbished and there was some maintenance being done with pressure washers, but all that activity quieted down in the evening. The warm water showers were a definite plus.
This was a big waste for me to have drove out for a carnival themed weekend! I showed up to see no parking, was packed, looks nothing like the photos and it just looked like a rv / camper park for welfare bums! No body was helpful or around to direct for the event going on, everybody was rude, the roads are trash as well, don't know why this place has so many good reviews when it's a dump!
