So quiet and tranquil. Very small campground but so picturesque. Seems like we are in the middle of nowhere, but we love it. Beautiful days of relaxation!
Cheraw is one of our favorite state parks in South Carolina. It only has a few RV spaces, but they are all well spaced and have plenty of room. We love the view of the lake as well. There are electric and sewer hookups with a dump station nearby in the park. The bath / shower house is modern and well maintained. We usually try to get Space 11 if it is available. Great view and nice layout.
Camped here in a 39' toyhauler for 7 days. This is an amazing small campground only 15 sites. Some are right on the lake front. Easy kayaking to cypress swamp where we saw ospreys, deer, beaver, and lots of other wildlife.
Really a great place to go camping, kayaking and fishing and hiking. This is one of if not the most enjoyable place to go kayaking I've ever been. Got so interested in paddling around and looking at the scenery I totally forgot the fish. If you're looking for a nice place just to get away and relax this is the place to do it.
This is the best scenery of any camp ground around. We stay here 2 or 3 times a year and absolutely love it. You can see sunsets or moon sets over the lake. Breath taking.
