Customer Reviews
We camped in our 36' Fifth Wheel camper. The bathrooms and showers are great and sparkling clean! The grounds look great! Cherokee lake is beautiful with excellent walking and biking trails. The host are friendly and professional! It's only 6 miles to a Walmart and things you might need. Highly recommend this convenient place to camp.
We stayed in site 33. It was advertised as water front. It was not. You are close to the water and the view is obstructed by trees. The site was advertised to have a concrete pad. The only concrete pad was under the concrete picnic table. We have a 33ft tt and the grade was so steep backing in we almost messed our bumper up going in and out. The extremely loud rap music and smell of marijuana coming from the tent camping area was awful. Guarantee we will never be back. I don’t NOT recommend this campground at all. In the positive side everyone was very friendly and was a quiet get away other than the reason stated above.
Such an awesome place to stay now, great people managing the campground, 2 thumbs up for Alice, Tim, Cathrine and Rocco, couldn't ask for a better crew. I will recommend Cherokee to everyone. Looking forward to our next stay , way to go Vista you are definitely on track with the great people at Cherokee!!!
This was our first time camping here. Our site was great (site 33). The campground is so quiet and nice. Host, Katherine and husband, were awesome! We really enjoyed our stay for 7 nights and will definitely be back!
Nice well groomed campground. Site 23 was roomy and level. My only issue was that my out the door view was the landscaping machinery. I know its a necessity but the placement of it in the middle of the campground is a negative.
