We stayed in our travel trailer for about a week in early summer of 2024. We had a great time here. Lots of things to do and especially enjoyed the pool. There was a jumping pillow the KOA would inflate when it wasn't raining. They had some cool fishing ponds that had the biggest tadpoles I have ever seen. Lots of things for kids to do. There was a small laundry facility on-site which was clean.

My spouse and I had such a magical weekend at Cherokee KOA! The indoor pool was wonderful and the hot tub was to die for! The staff was friendly and helpful and our cabin was perfect! The area is absolutely beautiful and the shops in Cherokee are so much fun to walk around in! Will definitely be back!

Disappointed. I brought my 8 year old daughter to enjoy the pool. The signs state that the indoor pool closes at 9:00 pm. We returned to the campground at 6:30 and the door was open but the lights were off... I tried calling several times and couldn't get through. I just wanted the lights turned on. Is there not a staff member on site after hours? I'm glad it wasn't an emergency! I just hate that my little girl didn't get to swim. I wouldn't recommend this KOA. *also the jets on the hot tub don't work, which practically defeats the purpose of having a hot tub.

After driving and tent camping for three days, we stopped here to relax. They made a VERY kind exception for us arriving late and allowed us to rent a deluxe cabin. The woman helping us was so nice, I think I must have looked desperate for a real bed and a hot shower. The cabins are super clean and all the staff are so nice - anyone we ran into was quick to help and give treats to our dog. Thank you so much for helping us!

We recently spent 3 nights at this family friendly camp ground. We were impressed with the activities oriented around family life. The two pools looked nice, but we didn't use them. We rated this park t stars, but the one drawback was the staff in the store/ office area. They were not the least bit helpful with questions we had.
