Cherokee Point Campground

I am hesitant to say too many nice things about Cherokee Point campground out of fear it will fill up I won’t be able to get a spot there again! Joyce and George are absolutely the best. I literally feel like family after only staying there for a month. They take immaculate care of this property which has incredible views and access to the lake. It is so quiet and peaceful with no road or lake noise. I will absolutely be back. Thanks guys for such a great experience.

We love our stay at Cherokee Point. We are staying in the cabin and it is great! I highly recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a peaceful stay.

My wife's parents camp here regularly. We always enjoy visiting. It is very well kept and peaceful! Absolutely beautiful in the fall.

Three coworkers and I stayed here for severing weeks in our separate trailers. We are all carpenters traveling for the TVA outage. This campground was a terrific place just about 5 miles from Watts Bar. I worked nights for the first week of a two week outage, and the campground was quite and peaceful all day. I was worried I would have trouble sleeping but that was not the case. The property is beautiful, and the people working here are amazing and understanding of how working the outage as a contractor is. The price for electricity was much lower than I expected so do not let that scare you. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone working in the area or just looking for a great place to take the family. They have several beautiful lake front sites and plenty of shore line. If I am ever working in the area again I will definitely give them a call.

Let me start off by saying that this is a very beautiful campground. Nice water spots with docks HOWEVER I have never been treated with so much disrespect from a business owner. I have never written a bad review for anyone until now. Just wanted people to be aware when visiting this campground.
