Woodsy State park with lots of space and electric hookups. Lots of deer throughout park. Nice playground, fishing pier and cleaning station. Restrooms are clean. Some sites with waterfront. Concrete slabs for RV and picnic table. Unlevel pavements so require leveling blocks. Nice fishing and bicycling. Park rangers and Park host travel roads often. I felt safe in park.
Love the rich history here. The hicking trails, fishing the little ponds and swimming in the lake.
Nice layout, close to the water and restrooms. Easy trails to walk. Quiet and plenty of deer to see at night.
We arrived at this beautiful, heavily wooded state park yesterday afternoon. It's a gorgeous, thick forest of pine and various hardwood trees. There are views of the lake through the trees at many of the campsites. The park is well-maintained to benefit native wildlife as well as human visitors.
Fantastic camping area. Very shaded. Clean
