Good RV park. Everyone was friendly, antennas and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Good fishing, nice bath houses. Activities on the weekends. We were actually there on band weekend eBenefits the special Olympics. Would come back here again.
Site A63. Love it here. Nice and clean and friendly staff(some of them) but that’s everywhere you go. No T-mobile, some Verizon, starlink works great.
This Thousand Trails campground is a nice getaway for those who like to fish or just be on the water. The sites are spacious, easily accommodating our 45ft motorhome and Jeep. Most have trees nearby or on the sites for shade. The store has camping necessities and fresh ice cream cones, with plenty of souvenir t shirts to choose from. There is a 24 hour laundromat on site, And I believe they fill or sell propane as well. The lake is quite large with a boat launch and a fishing pier. Overall a very nice campground. We will definitely return.
Staff is great. Lot size is good. The pool closed before the heat went away because they ran out of chemicals they said. They had days over 100° with 2 more months to go in the camp season. Ugh The camp store has great ice cream by the scoop or cone. Gluten free options.
My family and I have been coming here for 10 years, and not once have we had issues with the old management and staff until our stay on Memorial Day weekend. The staff are rude with the way they speak to the guests and could do a much better job when addressing who they're speaking to. At the gate, whatever the lady was watching on their computer screen seemed more important than checking us in. They watched me pull up as they sat there and kept me sitting in my truck at the gate for literally 5 minutes before opening the door to greet us. She was also rude with how he questioned me on what I was doing. The lady's attitude could also use a lot of improvement since I was met as if my presence was such an inconvenience. The staff are not aware that their tones and attitudes can be matched by their guests when being treated poorly, but they should be. I rated it a 3 star because my family and I have been coming here for years and love the place. It's the staff that will negatively affect the experiences here at the camp site. The "A" frame folks are great, though. You can tell who's new and who has been there for years. So far, the old employees from the previous management have all been the best and know how to treat their guests.
BE AWARE: This campground has changed policies recently and campers are VERY unhappy about it. Read the reviews on Trip Advisor to get a thorough look. The biggest complaint is that the campground is assigning sites and you are now forced to stay where they tell you to stay. There are also many complaints about campground conditions and moral. We’ve been camping there for four years, and conditions have continued deteriorate. We will not be returning or purchasing another yearly pass.
Very nice campground with lots to do .
