Here’s what our customers have to say:
- "A beautiful campground along St Mary Lake. Has great views and a peaceful setting. Very helpful and kind staff as we got our package delivered to them a few days before we checked in, so we were able to fix our RV in time. Would rate it 5 stars if they renovate their facilities, especially the showers/restrooms."
- "First of all, it's so beautiful and surrounded by trees (instead of being exposed to the highway). It's beyond easy to find access to the water. The picnic areas are very open, so there is lots of room for yard games as well as family meal sit-downs. I feel like the toilets (port-a-potties) are not always serviced, and the indoor toilet where we were picnicking was not in order. The boat ramp is available, and there is a small dock—just be mindful of anyone in the water when launching."

This is a great location for a campground BUT you really need to do something about those bathrooms. The mens backed up and flooded and I was afraid I was going to get a fungus from your showers. You have multiple complaints about your bathrooms. Do something about it because I would like to come back…
Positive: site were fairly large, but with spotty marking. Negative: One of the shower/bath houses was totally out of commission (the one closest to us of course). The other one had bad rust stains, an open hole in the wall for plumbing (at the urinal) and one shower leaked constantly and may have been closed.
We recently stayed two nights at the Chewing Black Bones Campground in Babb, Montana. We stayed at two different sites. The campground offers great scenery, and grass camping is much better than pavement, gravel, or dirt. I enjoyed staying here. My only complaint was that the dump station was plugged or full on the first night, and we could not dump. Additionally, only some sites had water hookups, and the electrical panels in both sites were positioned on the wrong side, so we had to run the power under the RV. This RV Park has so much potential if they would invest back into it. Despite these issues, the natural beauty and friendly atmosphere make it worth a visit. With some improvements, it could be an outstanding camping destination.
