RJourney has been great to stay at, The managers Chase and Sara are incredibly friendly and super helpful as they went above and beyond to ensure our experience her was stress-free as this was the first time my wife and I have been to an RV park; so needless to say we had a lot of questions and they were very helpful with showing us the ropes. The amenities that they have here are also great and the bathrooms are spotless, our dog Buster loved the open space and our neighbors are incredibly friendly and it seems like a great community whether you decide to stay here long-term or just for a little while we highly recommend RJourney.
We only needed a one night stop on the way home in January. You can't talk to anyone on site. Reservations are by phone to corporate service center or online, which we did. Arrived before 5pm (office hours), but it was New Years day. Reservation packet was in box outside office. Appears to be mostly full time residents and the park was about 90% full. As other reviewers stated, sewer connection is raised where even a hose ladder isn't high enough to drain. Restrooms and showers were clean and newly redone. Showers have no counter, seats or mirrors, just hooks. No space for anything but to take a shower. The furnace heat for these was out and water had to be left running to avoid freezing. Since we got there after dark and left early morning, we didn't see much else to review.
Maybe it's better for RVs. We stayed a couple months ago and had such a poor experience that we left a day or 2 ahead of the time we'd paid for. As a tent camper, you're either hearing highway or train tracks. It was probably nicer before all of the distribution centers went up, but back then it was a KOA. One neighboring cabin had a porch swing facing our site directly, and for some reason the person staying in it felt it necessary to display that they had a weapon. Zero privacy, with sketchy people. The other cabin had a family of 4 or 5 in it, with a cat that they'd allow to run loose. Between the father yelling at the kids, and the sketchiness of the other people, my wife didn't feel safe. No refunds, unless you cancel a week in advance, and even then it's only a half refund. Maybe at other times of year it's not as bad, but this was a September vacation. It's really sad how Cheyenne, along with most of Wyoming, is changing. It makes me wonder what Colorado looked like before the people from out "West" came in and bought everything up. A day after my stay I tried to call an office, but zero help was provided.
This is the place to come! Awesome price, Awesome Service! Sara, at the front desk made the whole experience, seamless! I also, thank, Chase, for all help and strength he provided! Thank you! Will, definitely, be back!
This is our second time here. Easy on and off freeway. Close to Cheyenne. We love going into town the back way to stay off I80. We were here a week this time. The crab apple trees were dropping the fruit. They were all over the ground right outside our door. I called to borrow a rake not being afraid to do the work. Maintenance would have none of that, and raked to my satisfaction. The only thing I would recommend, is trimming back those trees a lot. I also love seeing all the bunny rabbits
