It is beautiful and serene. They allow dogs as long as you have them on a leash.

Only a couple sites had actual tables and ATVers liked to drive in and turn around but that is the worst that can be said about it. We had plenty of space and my kids loved exploring and riding bikes. Wild turkeys could be heard across the creek and there were also a few small fish swimming around in there. It was beautiful.

Good campground, several pit toilets, free to use. Can get a bit windy at night, make sure to keep your tent sheltered in the trees. Very pretty surroundings.

Chicken creek campground is one of my favorite places. A little drive up the canyon and you see some beautiful waterfalls and creek that provides a tranquility that is unbeatable. Worth a visit.
