Great trail. Nice paved trail in great condition! There restrooms at the Weaver trail head as well as train depot to the north. Looks like they are working on opening the trail south.

A very nice, paved trail that goes all the way from near Anniston, AL to North Atlanta, GA. It's all paved all the way, and in good condition. It's primarily "flat", meaning a 1% -2% grade, as befits a former railroad line. There are small towns along the way to get food, and there are some rest stops with toilets on the trail.

Other than some tree roots pushing up on the trail in spots, the trail is perfect for a flat zone 2 spin that can go for 96 miles to Atlanta.

Great rail trail: excellent surface, well maintained. Smooth cruise on our tandem. Handy rest stops, pretty scenery. Saw 2 deer. Need to come back to ride more of this trail. Made a detour to see bison near the Piedmont sports complex, only saw 2 bison. Campground at endpoint, no hook ups but restrooms with showers.

New bathhouse under construction. So we had portapotties and no showers. Will be a very nice spot when complete.
