We enjoyed our week stay here. We enjoyed hiking around the area as well. It is under 10 miles into Caliente for a few groceries bite to eat in town as well as laundry which was needed since we've been on the road for a while. This is the first time I've gone this way back to Salt Lake from Arizona doing the snowbird thing and will take this route more often.

Very nice, especially considering it is free. Fire pit had a flippable grill thing. The shelters, picnic tables and grills were all in good condition. Lots of trees for shade. The trees make it much nicer than the Chief Mountain West spot down the road. No water but there is a non flush toilet. Easy to get to in any kind of vehicle. Went in mid May and it got to around 50F during the night. Lots of room for trailers.
