Regardless of where you're from, the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Chinook River Bend RV Resort will make you feel comfortable and safe. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable getaway.
This is my happy place. It is located just outside of Lincoln city, on the Siletz River. It is absolutely beautiful. It is prime fishing for King Chinook Salmon. There is a boat launch with several docks. It has a great fish cleaning station. Bathroom/showers and washer/dryer facilities. My family has been a member there for years. You will often see a herd of Elk come in and around camp. The little seals are fun to watch when you share your catch, while cleaning your fish.
This is more of a campground and not a RV park. Very close to the river. You drive about a mile on gravel to the grass and gravel sites. Utilities worked great. Staff was great. Sites are level. Sites are SUPER CLOSE and they allow fires next to your rig. The fire pits are so close, they smoke you out of the rig. I’d ditch the fire pits because they are too close to the rigs. Other than the fires, not a bad stay.
Me and my partner and our very good friend decided to try our skill at maneuvering a canoe with 3 peopling board. It was most def an experience! Best core workout ever!!! The guys were friendly and the pre-boating banter was just what we needed to get the moral of our motley crew up. They were most helpful and the ease of their demeanor made the trip and it was a great way to start. Safety was still #1 even tho we were all bs'ing. Good times!
Great hidden gem. We fished, relaxed, did laundry and showered. It is on the river and the people who run it are FABULOUS!! Very friendly and helpful. I want to return one day to spend a month. Wifi at site is good but cell service is not. Be prepared to make calls and texts from town. My man's phone worked ok via wifi but mine did not. No biggie. It is the quietest RV park we have ever experienced!!
