Chinook Campground

I booked this place online and it was a breeze. Super easy and quick. We came 2 hours away. We were so excited. Tent campers. We had site 118. We loved the location, near the back, slight coverage with trees yet we saw some sky and stars at night. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful, we got directed to our side easily and told about some fun things, they have pizza delivery on the grounds which we took full advantage of. It was affordable, delicious and hot! Quick too. Some campers next to us were respectful and nice, some were super loud and didn’t stop until 230 in the morning. Two nights in a row which made for a long night of no sleep. We took advantage of the tubing and it was so fun, 4 hours of floating down the Muskegon river with my family was great, waves from passing boats, turtles on fallen trees, waving at people and good music. Amazing weather too. What a good experience. Will do again. I recommend coming and trying. They have something for everyone, playground, ice cream shop, pizza delivery, basketball and volleyball, and an arcade, even a pool, oh and you can rent golf carts to get around. Super fun!!!

Cute campground. Very crowded and smushed together. Not much shade over sites unless your seasonal. Great amenities for kids. Pool and bathrooms were kept very clean. Has a later checkout than most campgrounds which is so nice so your not in a rush to pack up as soon as you wake up. The general store across the street is a little pricy but perfect for odds and ends. Perfect for a quick last minute weekend getaway

Booked a cabin for three nights, but loved it so much we stayed one more. GREAT experience! Kids loved the pool, basketball court & arcade. Plenty to do. Staff & anyone we met was so friendly. Even took our dog & she loved it. Will definitely be going again next year!

We love this campground!! The owners and staff are always eager to make sure every guest has a great time! You can tell they put a lot of heart and soul in this place. We came for Halloween weekend #1 and it was a blast. The amount of events and activities they offer the kiddos keep them busy all weekend. There it's never a dull moment. We are coming back for Halloween weekend #2 in just 5 days and we can't wait! The amenities are awesome and they are definitely family focused!

We booked here for the 1st time for their Halloween weekend 2024. It was fantastic! So much effort put in for all the decorations and activities for all ages! Trick or treating, zombie walk and a zombie dance that was a big hit! Crafts, Halloween bingo,1 make your own scarecrow! Great playground with inflatables. They are dog friendly as well! Staff was exceptional! I will be back next year Halloween weekend!
