Really nice campground in a great location for exploring Spearfish Canyon. We were greeted promptly, led to our site, and even given some advice of things to see. Love that they have the photos of the waterfalls you can see on the Spearfish Canyon scenic route in the office so you know what to expect and can prioritize your visit. We were here in the off season so the showers and laundry were closed (which was communicated clearly to us before arrival), so I can't speak to those amenities, but we had no complaints and would happily stay here again if we were in the area.
Stayed here for a weekend in September and absolutely loved it. Excellent location, and very easy to access, even with the largest of rigs. The hosts were funny, friendly, extremely helpful, and readily available. The camp store was well stocked with anything you could possibly need and was actually priced very fairly. The campground, along with all of the facilities, were in excellent repair and very clean. Clearly the owners take pride in their business. I will absolutely stay here in the future and look forward to visiting again.
Excellent customer service and a beautiful campground! Staff is super helpful and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The owners even went above and beyond, providing assistance while they were out of town on a family vacation. 5+ stars!!!
This was our first stay at Chris' campground. We were in town to attend a conference and this site was the most convenient location. The access was very easy and clearly marked. They are pet friendly without all the drama regarding breed restrictions. The staff was amazing to work with. I have a self-contained RV so I cannot speak to the shower facilities. The pool was clean & clear. Definitely on my list to visit again when we're in the area.
Great people own this place. Very nice and helpful in every way. It's a peaceful campground where there are 4 deer that walk by us every night. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again.
