I come here a lot. Today was the first time in a while. I biked up the path, with the creeks being barely passable due to high water. There isn't much in the way of "facilites", however the place is good for a stop. Didn't make it to the gorge though as I wasn't sure about the conditions on that. If you do make it to the gorge, just at the start is a trail that is pretty hidden by trees, however it quickly climbs up a mountain and goes back down. That's one of my favorite hikes ever. It's really overgrown in spots, but great. Going up the gorge is really nice as well. The "trail" (if there is one after 2 consecutive very wet winters), ends 1.5 miles at a spot with picnic tables and a small cave. Beyond that, it's true wilderness. There is no trail, been there once, and that was enough. From the camp you can also continue up the road to Warm Springs Mountain and eventually onto Lake Hughes Road. That's my preferred route on my bike, however decided to try something new today. Be careful on those stream crossings!

Just remnants of a campground now. If you look around, you might find an Indian huppah.
