Couldn't ask for a better location with all the feels of a quiet, rustic feel. In the campground you can't tell you're in the heart of pigeon forge. It's quiet and peaceful, clean and safe and very spacious. The spaces are so nice. They spared no expense on the tables and chairs at each site. Fire pit and grills. Duck food dispensers to feed the ducks. Right on the river. Will make sure we stay here EVERY TIME we come to Pigeon Forge.
We have had one of the best camping experiences here as a family for fall break. We have made so many memories. Beautiful park, top notch facilities, staff is incredible. Full hookup sites are nice, especially for a week stay. Plenty of activities for kids. So close to downtown, but without the hustle and bustle. Felt very safe. 1/4 to 1/3 of the cost of renting a cabin. *One evening, I noticed one of my propane hoses leaking. I bought the parts, but I didn't have all of the right tools. The staff was nice enough to not only loan me the tools, but also offer to help replace the part in the cold and rain. A+ staff and service. Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends.
Stayed at Clabough's with a very large group of women campers & we were treated like Queens!! The bathouses are completely tiled, very clean & well kept. Never ran out of hot water. Never blew any fuses with all those hair appliances running. Their restaurant inside the fuel station served fresh hot meals at a very reasonable price. Campground layout is well planned & easy to navigate. Pools were still open & sparkling for those who feel 70 degree weather is warm enough. Staff was always helpful with local information and friendly without being interfering. Located within 1 mile easy terrain, walking distance to main tourist drag, and a PF trolly stop at main entrance.
Level gravel spaces in section A. We had a problem with the electrical box in our original site (didn't have 110v for our heated water hose). Campground allowed us to move to a new site. Had trouble with the electrical box providing consistent power. The campground maintenance tech fixed it in the dark. Super responsive staff. Location is very close to Wears Valley Road. Loud cars often "zooming by." Also close to all that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Bathhouse and bathrooms very clean.
We stay at Clayboughs 3-5 times a year and love it! They have the best staff, close to everything, activities, you can by what you need at the store/gas station/restaurant, not to mention the cleanliness of the bath houses, gym, laundry, etc. I can’t express how much we love this place. ❤️😊
