Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre

We were here for Eid Prayer. Very spacious and open banquet hall and full of natural light. I’m glad that they provided us the chance to pray here as there was more than enough space for a lot of people to pray comfortably. This hotel is a solid pick for any sort of large event easily.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Hotel was totally full so had to park by the White Spot on site but that was no big deal. Good value. I’d give it 5 stars EXCEPT for the fact that the heater was really loud - like they lose 2 stars for how annoying this heater is. Nice enough staff. Conveniently located next to the highway. Lots of food options super close - like a five minute walk or thirty second car ride.

First time staying here. It was a wonderful experience. 4 days and 3 nights of rest and relaxation. Staff was courteous and very accommodating. Special shout out to Jim at the front desk who was very cordial and super friendly with a great sense of humour. Thank you Jim for being so professional yet down to earth. We will definitely be back! 🙂

Feel it only fair to leave a review as there is one going construction in the hotel. We stayed 4 night in mid March 2024 Checked into a room on the 2nd floor. While the room was clean and fair in size it was never mentioned that there was construction directly below our room. -If we had been made aware of this we would have never taken that room. When I called to ask about the noise we were given the option to switch rooms, which we did and made mention of the fact that we were not told about the construction at checkin. -Our last 2 nights were in a 3rd floor room where there was no construction. When this was brought up again at checkout Saturday morning, we were told there was no one available to discuss this and to call back. I called on Saturday about 3pm and told again, to call back - this time on Monday. Called Monday and spoke to Daniel and explained our situation and was promptly told there would be no consideration to our bill because we moved rooms and they felt they remedied our complaint. When it was repeated that there was no mention of construction at checkin and the sign we were told about during or request for a room switch, was not seen & had been turned completely away from the guests view at checkout; was easily dismissed, still with no offer to accommodate our bill at all for the disturbance and lack information. So because the lack of guest care was disappointing. We will not be staying nor referring anyone to this location for hotel or events.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Included a keurig coffee machine, microwave and small fridge. Excellent water pressure. Beds were a bit firm for my taste but still slept well every night. Lots of parking. Close to co-op grocery (5 min walk) and down the road from fast food and gas stations. We had our two big dogs with us as well. There is a gym, pool and hot tub but we did not use those on this trip. Great access to the highway. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. White Spot connected to hotel with hotel guest discounts.
