Customer Reviews
Clarks Hill Lake is beautiful. The lakes span across Georgia and South Carolina. There is lots of boat ramps, swimming areas, grills, picnic tables, parking, and good fishing. I would highly recommend it. I absolutely love it here.
$5 parking fee per vehicle, or you can buy a year long parks pass. I go swimming here, with my dogs, once or twice a week. The first beach in from the entrance is the only one dogs are allowed on, and it's pretty nice. The water is warm, the drop off is fairly gentle, there's no current and very little in terms of waves. I love swimming here, and do my dogs :)
Nice large lake. They have little recreational areas where you can swim, fish and boat. Not free though. These rec areas are based on a integrity system so you have to pay the fee in a drop box and grab a mirror tag. So I guess you would need to have cash.
Beach is very small and there is a ton of trash. Bring exact change for entrance there is no way to break a big bill. Fee is $5 not $4 as website says.
Nice park with a couple of beach areas for swimming. Picnic tables with trees and shade. Only down side is you can smell the bathrooms outside in the parking area. Will be going back
