Great day for a last minute drive to the lake…. Then lunch at Grand Daddy’s kitchen!!!
Nice area for family functions. Beach area needs a little cleaning it was more drift wood than sand. Beautiful scenery, we got a spot right on the lake.
Love visiting for sunset! The boat ramp is great for launching kayaks. The picnic areas are great for grilling. It is rarely crowded. There is a $5 fee (as of 04/22) but it is worth the fee. There are bathrooms with lights, running water and flush toilets on the main road through the park that are always clean and well stocked.
Awesome park with well maintained trails that lead down to the water where there is plenty of beach space.
I love coming out here, it's always amazing and very quiet alone time which I need to help clear my head. Love bringing my pup here letting him run crazy and chasing squirrels that he sees.
