Overall the stay was great and we had a great time. Staff were very nice. It was very quiet during the night which was very relaxing to hear the crickets tree frogs and birds. The camp sites were clean and there were a lot of options/sites to choose from. Used showers one evening and they need to be cleaned and the water was arctic. There was a lot to do here to keep every one busy. The lake was super fun and the sprinkle part was super fun! The food was good and not over priced. Wanted to rent a golf cart but was unable to because we were in a primitive area so we had to drive or walk. Would have been nice to have a cart. The foam pit was a nice touch! My only real concern about our stay and itโs a real safety hazard was the total chaos on the lake inflatables. There is no one regulating them at all. Children that were in the water were getting jumped on from other people on the inflatable. We are talking like 10 foot jumps on to kids in the the water. Also when crawling up the inflatables adult and children alike slipping from the top of the inflatable and falling on top of people underneath them. I saw a grown woman about 250lbs fall on a small child. When people come down the slides I was inches away from a big man sliding right into me because I had not swam away quick enough. There should definitely be some one regulating these inflatables before dare I say some one gets hurt or even dead. Single file line and make sure the people below are cleared the landing areas. I am really shocked this has not been addressed or take care of honestly. My disclaimer to parents is to make sure you are watching your children very close or are with them while swimming in the lake by the inflatables. Overall the stay was very nice and we will be visiting again. But might reconsider the lake next time.
My wife son, three grandchildren, son's girlfriend and her daughter all visited Jellystone Park on August 3, 2024. They were there just for the day. They also had a cabana rental. They arrived around 11:00 and it was raining. After waiting a while, they decided to go to the arcade to let the kids do something while waiting for the water slides to open. Do NOT go to the arcade. This is the biggest rip off. My wife spent $40 to allow each child to have a $10.00 game card for the games. The kids were excited to finally be doing something. What a big disappointment. They each only got to play one game and it said their money was gone. Mind you they were each playing a different arcade game. My son spoke to an employee about it and they said we would have to go back over to the main conference center to see if we could get some of our money back. The employee was very pleasant and said she totally understood why we were upset. We went over to the main conference center. The girl there said that we would have to go back over to the arcade to get the telephone number to file a complaint. My son asked if she had the number and she said no. He then asked if she could call the arcade to get the number. She said they did not have a number to the arcade for an employee there to get this number to file the complaint! Now really???? You mean to tell me if there is an emergency the main conference center doesn't have a telephone number to the arcade? She said there was absolutely nothing she could do. I wonder how many other people have been ripped off by going to the arcade. After getting something to eat and then letting the children mine for gems, fossils, and gold, it finally stopped raining. The kids had a wonderful time at the water park. They also had a cabana at the little kids water park and it was very nice. Overall, they had a fun day. I'm sure they'd consider going back. Just know to avoid the arcade and don't waste your money.
We have been to 3 different jellystone parks. This one looked so much fun, better then the ones we had been to the last 2 years. We drove 4 hours and man what a disappointment the whole first day our electric didnt work all we got was an I'm sorry. Rude employees the whole time I think I meet 1 nive employee. We went Labor Day as a end of summer horaah. Be prepared they open to the public on Saturdays it was so busy we couldn't enjoy the water park or beech we paid for. Sunday and Monday the beech was disgusting they never cleaned the beach from the day before. Multiple times my husband cleaned the trash from around bathroom and parks cause it was awful. They had men cleaning the girls bathroom while still letting little girls in there with them ๐ ๐ก. On Monday the last day of summer season they were putting up there fall activity they were to busy to blow up the inflatables my children couldn't use them. When expressing my concerns I wrote a comment on Facebook that got deleted within minutes. Wrote an email regarding my concerns all I got was sorry. Never would recommend this place to a soul. Could have been a great trip. :(
We attended the Neon Nights festival at Clay's Park and stayed in one of the Ranger Smith cottages. Our stay was Thursday to Sunday and it was the perfect amount of time! The cabin was extremely comfortable, with a screened in porch, outdoor table and chairs with an umbrella for shade, private bedroom, loft space and bunk beds to accommodate all of us. There is a gas stove which made cooking much easier than the electric cooktops in other cabins. The bathroom was clean and perfect for what we needed and saved us many trips to the bathhouse. Our cabin was pet friendly so I was able to take 2 of my pups. I am so happy with my experience that I'm considering applying for a seasonal camping spot for next year.
By far the biggest Jellystone we have visited. Was nice and clean. My 3-star rating for service was because the very young staff didn't seem to be trained on customer service or what they we're supposed to be doing. Overall we liked it and plan to return. Also grateful we booked a golfcart because of the park size
