Clear Creek campground

In my opinion, those who have low rated this campground are not taking into account what they paid for a stay. FOR THE PRICE, this is an excellent spot. 50 amp service works. Quite very low traffic area. Very accommodating staff. I bit challenging to access. Our spot was not totally level but not a deal breaker. A bit tight for a big rig but doable. We will be back.

We stayed 1 night at Clear Creek Campground with FHU for $13.78 per night. This is a 30 site campground and must have been built years ago. As I walked the two loops of the campground, I only saw approximately 10 sites that were 50 amp. All the others were 30 amp only. The campground was in need of some serious repair and maintenance. The gravel sites and gravel roads were navigable by a big rig, but just barely! (we disconnected our tow vehicle) Trash and junk was discarded into the weeds at the outer edges of the campground. The ladies in the office were super nice but had no details about the campground. We were told to pay across the street at the Bovina Fuel Stop but, most of the employees had no idea how. There was no drop box. There were 7 full-time RV’s during our stay. I received 31 OTA TV channels, Verizon internet was poor but AT&T was fantastic. No campground bathrooms/showers, picnic tables or WiFi. On and off I-20 was very easy. I will stay again.

We was blessed to rent this spot!! The family enjoyed enjoyed themselves as always. They got a park for the kids, lake, etc

This is the first negative review i have ever left, i reviewed the photos and a few older posts on this RV park as we only needed a overnighter while traveling. The pictures are of a few years back, Park needs work, electricity and sewer is janky. The drive way going downhill into the park was washed out really bad.

I planned to stay 4 nights, but was told they accept Passport America for one night only. It’s a shame that they don’t tell you that on the website. More shameful the state of the bathroom. There were 3 or 4 cigarette butts in the shower corner that looked as if they’d been there for months. (Who smokes in the shower?) Months you wonder? Well perhaps years, there were thick spider webs in the ceiling and other webs well within reach of a cleaning hand if there one. The office staff at the location appear to be running the c-store business. If anyone is responsible for cleaning the bathroom they have abdicated their responsibility. The park has 6 to 8 spots on top and the same below. About half are occupied with what appear to be long term tenants. Tight corners for a big rig and some of the sights are fairly sloped. Good Wi-Fi was a redeeming quality on top. Not sure if it carries to the lower lot.

Great place while passing through! 50amp hookup, water & sewer. Can't beat the price, right off the freeway, quiet, convenience store nextdoor. Ladies in the office we're so nice. Restroom needed a little TLC. Would definitely stay here again.

Don’t let the no reservations make you miss out here. About 40 spots and just a few full timers so a spot will be open. For PA it is a great deal but just a basic campground with restrooms and showers. Walking distance to a convenience store.

Spent a quiet night here at this hidden gem. We called ahead and a friendly and informative person answered the phone. Since we were arriving after hours, we paid at the well stocked grocery next door. Full hookups, on-site bathrooms, and a level spot. Heard one train pass by. Will stop here again
