We went for a night and we were pretty much happy campers . We were in good area . Bathrooms were clean , the whole campground is in really good shape . The beach is busy but well maintained for all the people . Fishing was not good . A lot of little animals around but they don’t bother you at all. Overall I would go again there with the rest of the family.

Had a great time camping out at the Clear Lake campground. Definitely will come back. They clean their showers daily and bathrooms regularly as well. Everyone was super friendly. Had a great lil site that fit our camper and had a couple of perfect trees for our hammocks. The amount of shade at the sites is perfect to keep you cool on those hot summer days.

Awesome campground. Great beach, boat launch, beautiful lake, paved bike trail and facilities. Spent 7 days in a pop up in July. Hope to reserve spot next year soon. Yeah, that good. Stay with me sports fans, more to this story. Site #789 has a steep grade with 50% of the real estate un-useable to tent or set a camper, based on the perimeter posts. The "flat" had big rocks as pictured. We set a tent just outside the 6" post perimeter because of it. Warden made us pull the tent after a couple days. That flat most definitely been used before for tent because of the grade and big rocks. Fix the site, or abandon it IMO.

It breaks my heart to see the trees cut right up to the back campsites. I grew up here, spent summer in their shadows. Remember this if you are looking at a "borders state land" property.

Really nice little campground. Great showers. Clean. Friendly staff. Full and a little loud during the day, but it's a family campground with campers and generators. It's just the type of place it is. It was really quiet after 10 though. Sites are far enough apart for lots of privacy. Nice little beach with boat parking. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Close to Eagle River, St. Germaine and Minocqua.
