Clearbrook City Park Campground Introduce
For Minnesotans exploring the Northwoods region, the **Clearbrook City Park Campground** offers a highly practical, affordable, and centrally located option for both tent campers and RV travelers. Situated in the small community of Clearbrook, this city-run facility is the ideal basecamp for accessing major area attractions like **Itasca State Park**, the headwaters of the Mississippi River, and the Paul Bunyan State Trail. It is the perfect choice for value-conscious visitors who prioritize convenience and core amenities over expansive wilderness or resort luxuries.
Clearbrook City Park is defined by its straightforward, flat terrain with grassy areas and scattered trees, offering a pleasant and easily navigable camping environment. Its appeal, as noted by local users, lies in its **affordability and simplicity**. The park often operates on an **honor system for payment**, reflecting a level of trust and community spirit typical of small-town Minnesota. While the site may not offer the rustic isolation of a national forest camp, it compensates with the practical benefits of being right in town, offering easy access to local shops and services.

Customer Reviews
It is cheap and think it is on the honor system to pay. The prices are incorrect on the sign. Nice that it had bathrooms with showers. But they were sketchy looking and no guarantee that there would be toilet paper. The campsite side didn't have power. There was an outlet at the pavilion you could probably use.
Right across from Brookfield Apartments. Nice small camping area with restrooms.
I'm staying at the campground. Bath house a little beat up. But the price is decent
Gross..unkept and weirdos camping. .
Very nice 👍
