Customer Reviews
Stayed specifically in a deluxe cabin (on wheels). Very comfortable, spacious, kitchen was stocked with utensils, plates, cups, etc. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable. The screened in porch was large and very nice to have to sit outside of the rain. The place itself is a bit odd when it comes to the rules. 2 free kayak and 1 free SUP rental with your stay but for 2 hours. There were more kayaks and sups that seemed available but only 1 kayak was free for us to use. There wasn't anyone working the rental booth so we had to go to the main building at the entrance of the campground to get a paddle and PFD. So weird. There was a fishing dock next to a private boat dock and the fishing dock itself needs some maintenance work as it was very rocky and unstable in some sections. The fire pit was a decent size, a picnic table included, a pool and game room on a different part of the property that needed to be driven to and expensive laundry access. We only stayed a night but it was a pretty comfortable stay.
We have been at this campround for 18 years. We love our little getaway, especially in the winter! I never thought I would be up there in the winter months as much as we are. The indoor pool is open year round and the trails for snowmobiling are close by. I love taking my grandchildren to go to the beach! Our nephew and his family bought a place behind us and loved it so much they upgraded to a park model! Great place to bring the family. Quiet and clean😊
The cabin is really nice, and the campsite is fairly private. The shower is an amazing convenience. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds, but all of the beds are very firm, which isn't my preference. The pull out couch is not comfortable to sleep on, as you can feel the bar along your back. We love the screened in porch, so we can still be outside, even if it's raining. The store doesn't have an ATM, which is inconvenient when they require cash payment for additional key cards. Overall really nice experience, and we'll be coming here again.
TOO MANY RULES !! This place is rule crazy. No jumping in the pool. No motorcycles allowed. No fires after midnight Everywhere you look at this place there are rules on signs, rules on paper, rules. The motto should be live free somewhere else !! They won’t guarantee sites unless you book 6 nights. We actually enjoyed our stay here. The sites are a bit tight. Its nice and wooded. Its not the worst campground ever but definitely not the best.
Beautiful, well-maintained, and pleasant atmosphere! It was a wonderful choice for our family. They were clear about safety and rules, but they were reasonable and not at all stifling or alarming. The beach was clean and raked daily, the water was clear and the swimming area was well marked. My kids were thrilled with the play area! We will definitely return next year!
