Clemson Outdoor Lab: Full Service Camp and Retreat Center

My mother-in-law booked the pavilion at the Outdoor Lab for our rehearsal dinner and it was a lovely experience! It was so nice being right by the lake and in a beautiful, woodsy spot. It was a quiet, intimate spot for a rehearsal dinner and I’d highly recommend it. My husband and his groomsman stayed the night in one of the cabins after the rehearsal dinner and had a great time! The host, Mike, did a great job of directing people where to go and making sure everything was in order. The booking process was easy and affordable. You won’t regret booking an event here! Service is impeccable (thanks, Mike!) Facilities are super-clean and well-appointed (keep in mind it's a camp, not a Hilton). I could not be happier with the experiences we've had here. Hosted a couple of "big sleepover" birthday parties for my kids over the years and it was everything they needed. We rented a big cabin for the kids and then an adjoining "suite" for the chaperones (us). Very comfy. HVAC! Actual bathrooms! Beautiful grounds.

What a gem the Clemson Outdoor Lab is! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Everything is so well maintained, inside and out. We enjoyed time on the lake and using the various games and conveniences. We had a very relaxing time and will definitely be back! Janay, Amanda and Leslie were all so kind and easy to work with. We booked Clemson Outdoor Lab for our rehearsal dinner and reception. Our wedding party stayed on site with us and we had a full wedding weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. This place is definitely a hidden gem!!

Absolutely gorgeous setting on Lake Hartwell nestled amongst the Tall, Tall Pines are the just right comfy cabins of the Clemson University. Camping with all the necessities to feel comfortable while being quiet and still enough to take in the sunrise, sunset, and stirring of local deer family. Hiking trails are good for beginners. We planned our meals and cooked outside at the well built shelter stone grill. We enjoyed all of the waterfront activities. Great for our family to have this special time together. We loved it!
