Customer Reviews
We always love camping here. I do feel like the management is different than last time though because it's not as kept up as it used to be. Bathrooms were dirty and not well stocked and the grounds we kind of trashed (which should be the campers job to clean up after yourselves). Otherwise, a great place to camp out!
Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, dog owners, or families. This beach offers well-maintained facilities, including restrooms and picnic tables. Ideal for romantic or friendly strolls along the beach. Food is from komis tea house.
It is cold at night, it's right off the beach on the west coast, with some crazy winds at times but during the right time of year it is an affordable camping spot that is reasonably priced for tent camping, with a gorgeous viewpoint with breathtaking sunsets. They have public bathrooms, with no showers, or Laundry services. On site camp hosts available for questions and security. Payment is under $10 a night pay upon arrival, first come first serve, simply fill out an envelope put in money and drop it in the box when you first pull in and park.
We loved the beach. Camp sites were full. Call rock formations, Driftwood, multiple places to swim including more wavy areas with stronger tide and then areas that were more calm with easy tide. Will visit again. Host was also nice.
Nice little place. Would be nice if they did a little upkeep. Awesome beach, rockhounds paradise. Cute little waterfall with a bench to sit and enjoy. Want to camp overnight someday. UPDATE: stopped in July 14th and park landscaper's were there cleaning up. Walk down to go to the beach and pleasently surprised those stairs in previous picture have been removed making it easier to get down to beach. I decided to camp there for the night I came across a woman camping with her 2 daughters who saw me manuvering rocks and logs to get to the beach the following morning I saw them again and saw the beautiful work they did, clearing logs and rocks, lining a beautiful pathway for all to easily get to beach. Many thanks Janelle, Avaya and Aizlynn. And McVay was awesome
