Nice views, lots of boats and yachts. NO Free parking. Very difficult to find parking around. You can find paid parking. The restrooms are not clean. Urin flowing over the floor and very smelly
Beautiful views of the bay and downtown TC with walking/biking paths, beach access, fishing, kayak rentals, park for kids, and much more! The historic theater and the tunnel photograph well!
A superb little beach with plenty of space, amenities, activities and accommodations! This gem is downtown Traverse City's "best kept secret"- but be ready for "parking hunger games" 🤣🤣🤣 100% worth the effort 👌
This place is amazingly beautiful. Wonderful bathroom access. Awesome bike trail. Adorable spray park for the children! Cool historic signs throughout the park. It's a beautiful testament to Traverse City that the beach and park have such a pride of place location right as you enter the town. Truly a gem! With underground passage ways to get to the beach without dealing with the traffic and crosswalks.
We expected this to be nice ... but it needs some major TLC. Garbage in the water and on beach, overgrown weeds everywhere, bathrooms were dirty, etc. Great water fountain for the kids to play in. Easy access from Traverse City shopping/dining area.
