We had a great time with Dianne and Harald. The campsite is run with love. Dianne also takes care of the little ones (our children were 4 years old). In the bathroom there were clean shower mats that I have not seen in any of the many other campsites (at no extra charge!). Of course we didn't miss out on the halibut. Everything was great and anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly and clean place will find it here!
Hidden Gem in Canada! If you are heading North or South on 97, this is a must stop! Beautiful Rv park, meticulously maintained, with the nicest owners we have ever met on our full time RV adventure. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always a welcomed refuge from the long trip from Alaska. Superb pull thru sites with full hook ups, cleanest bathroom and showers you will find on the road. Multiple areas to get out the RV and relax with a walk, games or just sitting around a community fire. Make sure you get the halibut and chips from Mr. H’s on site. Best fish and chips ever, hands down!!!
I might be a little jaded after dry camping for 5 months coming from AK. But this place is wonderful. Private spots, some full hookups!!! She has a laundry facility by the house. Everything is very clean and well taken care of. We were in #8 , in a 38' class A w/ toad. Back in, Fit no problem. Good Att & Verizon service. They provide secure WiFi. Bathhouse was great. HOT WATER on demand!! The halibut & chips are to die for!! And we've eaten tons of halibut! Great stop!!
A really nice campground, above Clinton. Washrooms and showers are like new and very clean. a bonus was the fish and chip food truck was great! Thanks Diane for the great service and delicious Halibut at a reasonable price! Expect some Highway noise.
What a great place to camp and spend a few days. Dianne and Hal are great people that own this business. The property sits high above town so not too much traffic noise. The sites are level and clean. The bathrooms are spotless and she even provides a towel to step on after your shower. Plenty of hot water. You can walk into town for a meal or have Hal's famous Halibut and fries done to perfection delivered to you camper door. Go and enjoy this gem of a Campground.
