Beautiful location, visited here last month in June. We had beautiful time together with our friends and family. We enjoyed bbq, poolfun, walk around the pond and in the night camp bonfire with slow music and lots of chitchat. Beautiful pond view cabin💕. The only thing cabin wasn’t clean there was spiders and spider webs around the bed. It was so scary to sleep. 🥹
It’s a little bit rustic but has its charm. We stayed 3 nights in cabins with young kids and had a great time. Pool was great and easy to visit surrounding vineyards. Probably only downside were the toilet blocks are a bit far away
This place is great! I had a short stay I one of the basic cabins. The cabin was clean and cozy. The property itself is beautiful!! They have a nice little pond in the middle that can be fished in. There are plenty of tent, trailer, and cabin sites to choose from. The restrooms, showers and laundry rooms were very clean. They also have a pool, and lounge/ eating area. The staff are really nice and helpful
This campground was a great jumping off point for our visit to Sonoma Wine Country. It was far from full, as I guess our visit wasn't during the high season. The road to get there was a little sketchy and 15 minutes off the beaten path. Other than that and being a bit overgrown, the campground was nice and accommodating for our stay.
One of my worst camping experiences. First and last KOA. The campground is packed, enough that you can hear people snore in neighboring campgrounds, which is not a problem on its own. The tent sites are overgrown and hard to get a stake in the ground, which is also fine, this is camping afterall. The real issue is that there is no security or enforcement. When we arrived, there was a loud large family playing loud coutry music. Drunk and senseless Americans on campgrounds is nothing new. However these folks continued playing loud music till midnight, talking and swearing loudly, and no one quieted them down. Eventually some other folks had to physically endanger themselves and confront them. Once the circus actually fell asleep, we could hear more parties going on pretty loudly. We checked out a day early since we needed to sleep. On the way out I asked the management if they enforce anything and got a hand wavy response. The overall experience, the shabbiness of the campground etc reminded me of camping in rural Texas.
