The lake and resort amenities were great, service was acceptable. Very pretty grounds. Not much to do in the area, or we picked the wrong activities. No complaints but not excellent.
My family and I just returned from a very wonderful and relaxing week at Wyndham Lake Marion Resort in Santee, SC. We stayed in a very spacious and beautifully decorated unit. Every amenity was provided such as cooking supplies. Quality soaps and shampoos and lotions. Bedrooms were spacious and gave plenty of sunlight into the entire unit. We had a lakeside view from the deck of our third floor unit. I recommend Lake Marion for anyone who love serene and relaxing vacations. I appreciate the kind and accommodating nature of the staff who made this vacation a very memorable experience for our family.
The resort was good but not great. Located next to Lake Marion. The rooms were the best thing they had - spacious and clean. The balcony overlooking the water was nice too. There is paid boating in the Lake. They had a pool which was good. But no real activities in the Resort. However there are a couple of parks for hiking. Not a bad experience
I Loved our time at Wyndam at Lake Marion! The unit was so spacious and well-appointed! It had Everything we needed including Hand soap, body lotion(not those mini bottles!) Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash. The activities were varied and fun, especially BINGO! The surroundings of the resort were peaceful and relaxing. The front desk staff were so very friendly, professional, and attentive to us. We will be back !
My family and I had a Wonderful week . The unit was Very spacious and Beautifully decorated. They were gracious enough to forward a personal item that I left. Mr. Laws was very pleasant and accommodating along with all the staff members. We will definitely be back.
