Cobourg East Campground

My husband, son and I went away for the long weekend. I am not a camper, but staying at East Cobourg Campground might have turned me into one. Lots are well maintained and a great size. Washrooms and showers are clean. Super family friendly with activities going on for the kids. Seasonal campers are very friendly and warm/welcoming. We had a wonderful weekend! Thank you!!

This campsite is a total nightmare, like seriously, avoid at all costs! The owners are on a power trip, yelling about everything under the sun. Want to play some tunes? Nope, not allowed! Fancy a chat with your pals? Forget about it! And get this, they even stoop so low as to mock kids' swimwear. Plus, to top it off, they're into some shady stuff, dumping and burning garbage like it's no big deal. Stay away from this place, it's a total disaster! This campsite is an absolute joke! The entire where act like banning us is going to make us upset, but trust me, it's a blessing in disguise. Who wants to deal with their constant yelling and ridiculous rules anyway? Good riddance to that place!

Recently booked for a 2 night stay with my 12yr old Autistic grandson because it was close to his home incase we had to take him home. My wife got sick and ended up in hospital so I called 4 days before arrival to cancel they wouldn't return my deposit of $61.50 . I would not be writing this if they had at least offered to refund a portion, shame on them. Will definitely not even consider them in the future and will never recommend them.

I needed a campground as a middle point between my start and final destination. I needed full hook up for my trailer and wanted to be close to water. I found it all here! Place is small and cozy. Very very very well kept. I have seen some run down campgrounds - this is not the case here. Clean pool. Sites are not on top of one another. Wifi signal is not the strongest but… Lake Ontario and beaches are within 5 min drive. Silence is deafening here. And owners are nice and accommodating which is another plus as i have certainly ran into some jerks before!!! Thank you for my wonderful peace and quiet

Worst campground in Ontario. I suggest anyone who is thinking about staying there don't. Unless you like crackheads yelling at a mother and her child for not knowing she had to pay $10. A little respect and kindness goes a long way. It doesn't cost anything to be nice Scott.
