This place could be so amazing! But it comes up short. Didn’t help we were on the last weekend of them being open cause they were so short staffed and you could tell by how annoyed Caleb was of our presence. They promise a lot and under delivered. We stayed one night and that was plenty… -Tents are cute but you for sure need to upgrade to the larger ones with attached bathrooms. Otherwise it’s a hike to the top of the hill and you share a bathroom - Food was good but a bit over priced for the dinner option for having to cook the meal yourself (Bbq box option) - Could use some easy activities besides the fire pit. Like corn hole, horse shoe pit etc. cause besides doing paid activities like horse back there wasn’t much else to do. I was stoked to go see this place but sadly was a bit disappointed.

As many others have pointed out, there are some pros and cons to this place that really make it hard to review. We rounded down because of the condescending and fake “hospitality” of Caleb, the main host. I’m also in the service biz so we were nothing but gracious, good tippers and patient… but he was passive aggressive on just about every interaction. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s just over worked and understaffed, which is more of a reflection on the ownership than it is on him. The other staff were friendlier but also very tired and ready for the season to be over. This really just left us with a bad taste in our mouth, unfortunately. The pros are obvious - beautiful location, fun concept etc. The tents, food and value all need some help but it’s worth considering if they can figure out the service side of things. Lots of activities to do from third party vendors right there at the base.

We have been to several glamping sites in the states and in Mexico and this one is one of those that is great in pictures but not so great in reality. - understaffed ( 1 more person would have made a difference) - you need to plan all your meals in advance which is understandable however we missed the email ( went to spam ) and a call or text would have been appreciated - the food is OK , 2 out of 5 stars - personal preference : the last thing you want to do after a long day is cook your own dinner , I wish this was optional - we did not receive housekeeping, the beds also did not have pillow cases or duvet covers ( this should be a must for hygienic purposes) - lots of bugs in tent ( we are outdoors understood) however each tent should have citronella candles or complimentary bug repellent and an inspection should be made for crevices and openings ( there are several that need attention) -response time from concierge is not great , could be better - the tents need updating , tip : do not pay attention to pictures online the tents look very different in real life , especially the bathrooms they need up-keeping especially on the paint , refinished , the deck needs to be repainted as well as well as deck chairs (we got a splinter from the wood chairs sun damage) - the pillows are noisy and really really fluffy , you can’t really sleep well on them - the bed is very comfortable ! Yay bed - I have no idea why Caleb is in the service industry as he clearly does not want to be there , Andy however was great ! And the guy with glasses both of them attentive , good attitude and hard workers. - the lights on all the pathways barely work so it’s really dark, these need to be replaced or give each guest flash lights ;) - the views are great and location is remote enough to where you feel disconnected ! We, met some cool people , got some good rest , other than that this place needs some TLC , up-keeping and in general better hospitality

We spent a night here in June, and we have many opinions! Pros: -views were amazing (photo attached) -people working there were very nice -setting was great, feels remote but still reasonably close to Edwards, Vail, Minturn and other great spots -bed was really comfortable -the team was responsive to texts Cons: -food waste: we had three guests but you could only purchase dinner for increments of two people (despite giving ample notice). It was frustrating both from a (a) financial perspective (spending $155 for food for one person) and (b) food waste perspective. -plastic / aluminum waste: even though the kitchen is directly next door to the area where everyone eats, the dinner comes in an insane amount of plastic and tinfoil (pictures added). I am very passionate about sustainability and try to support hotels that have minimal footprints. I imagine other guests who are selecting a glamping option feel similar, but it was so hard to see so much unnecessary waste. -ventilation in the tent: It was extremely hot the first day, but the tent did not have any windows besides tiny ones at the bottom. It would have been so helpful if there was an additional window to allow the wind to cool the space down. -the breakfast could have been so much better. The granola seemed like it was just crunched up nature valley bars.

We had a really great experience here! The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially, Mickael, he was fabulous. Our tent and bed was very comfortable, even in the queen journey tent. The views are spectacular! There are plenty of drink options in the communal tent and the food was pretty good (although I do think slightly overpriced). We would highly recommend to family and friends as it was a very unique and fun experience.
