I came here with the family about two weeks ago and from my experience it was absolutely stunning. Not to busy, quiet, and a nice place to get away. I love the snow and seeing the lake frozen over was a reminder of how beautiful nature can be. Only downside was seeing all the damage from last year's fire on the way up and down. Overall a great place to be!
Very nice place for casual camping. I'd recommend for first time campers who aren't ready for the offsite, unrestricted type of camping. Clean restrooms and near the lake. Big enough for a few tents a site, but if you plan to go with multiple families, probably need to reserve 2 to 3 sites.
Very clean and tidy camp right next to an absolutely beautiful lake. The water was a bit cold, but not at all freezing; perfect temperature to swim in the morning. I would love to come back here with a sailboat or a kayak to enjoy the lake a bit more. The restrooms were one of the cleanest of any public restroom I have ever visited, which was a huge bonus. The only reason I gave only 4 stars is because there was one quite loud group near us we had to deal with, as the campsites are very close to each other.
We had a blast! Great spot, clean restrooms, nice place to swim. I will go back!
Very nice. Right in the lake. Clean. Beautiful.
