If you hike back to this reservoir you will see a dammed up stream creating a large pond which was once the swimming facility for the College Settlement Camp who owns all this property. Noone would want to swim in these dark waters except the many turtles and geese who make it home. The woods are beautiful although loaded with poison ivy. Most of the camp land is posted but this section is not. Would recommend avoiding coming back here when camp is in session. There is an interesting archeological site on the road back to here.
