March 6th, 2025 I made a quick stop at the cute little Gift Shop today before heading to work. The ladies working at the front were extremely nice and greeted me with a smile. After purchasing a few things, I headed out to get in my car and realized my doors were locked, and my keys were inside, along with my cell phone sitting on the passenger seat. Almost in tears, I rushed back into the shop to ask if I could use their phone to call my husband for help. I explained that I had locked my keys in the car. I'm sure she could tell that I was about to break down in tears. She called the maintenance man, Roy, and he showed up minutes later. I met him outside, and he was a very friendly guy. He opened my car within 5 minutes! I was able to make it to work on time! Thank you all for being so kind and helping me. I appreciate you all.
Good campground with nice large lake. The place is made better due to having security personnel for greater safety of guests. Friendly staff and a store offering a good selection of snacks and ice cream. Camp sites are good also. Recommend camping here with friends and family.
6 years ago I gave this place a 5 star rating. My wife and I recently had a camping reservation and the head of security came to our site and demanded that we change sites the only option he gave us was a further walk to the showers for a pregnant woman and a disabled man who gets dizzy walking up hills because of an incident at another campground where a guy forced his way into our trailer. We had no control over this incident. mind you the head of security is the fire chief for the oregon house fire department maybe he should stick to fighting fires
Went for the first time and had a large family with 2 sites next to us that played very load music till 10pm. It was so loud we could not hear our own conversation. We called the office 2 times to report. They sent a security person by but it did not change the music volume. We left a day early and told the front desk. We did not ask for a refund and they did not offer.
Such a fun place to take the family camping. The kids loved the playground and the ice cream! The trout fishing is good in the fall.
