Customer Reviews
No amenities are opened during winter. No restrooms, no showers, no hot tubs, no WiFi. Do not recommend if you come after September. Office only opens for 1 hour from 8am to 9am. Way too many trees, it’s hard for long trailers. The map looks like the camping site is so big, but it’s actually all next to each other, not big at all! we missed 2 turns because the road is literally next to each other. Will never stayed here again.
We were members for many yrs and just sold our membership thud summer. It used to be a private campgrd but now open to the public. No big problems over the yrs except the employees always going the wrong way on golf carts and over the 7 1/2 mph speed limit. Almost hit 2 golf carts this summer. They need to follow their arrows on the roads. We had many fun times with lots of friends over the years.
DO NOT COME DURING WINTER! Again. Do NOT come during winter! NO RESTROOMS. NO SHOWER. NO WI-FI. ALL AMENITIES ARE CLOSED FOR THE REASON. You paid $65 per night for only electricity hookup. The office only opens 8am to 9am. You read it right. Only 1 hour but still nothing is open!!!! People~~Read the reviews before coming!! The site is actually very small, but they made it look big. Everything is next to each other, way too many trees and super narrow paths for RV!!!! We couldn’t wait and had to check out at 8am to GTHO.
Pros:. We had full hook up, which is a luxury we're not used to since we normally camp off the grid. They have a pool, park, fishing lake, trails, etc. Fun stuff like ice cream socials, dances, pot lucks, breakfast. they did a trick or treat the time we were there, which was awesome. Some people go all out. Some really sweet people who genuinely want to see the kids smile. There is a community, and if you like people, you should go. Cons: The camping slots are small. But doable. It's right next to the highway, which is loud. Lots of rules. Like no barking at any time. Lol. No one under 16 is allowed to walk the dog or go in the hot tub (even with their parent). My son is 15, 6'1, and mature, so that's funny to me. Absolutely no Marijuana but a good amount of people were hammered. No campfires.
This is always a great place to stay. It is nicely wooded and a very pretty and well kept park. For some of the big rigs it may be a little tight getting past the entance, but once you're in the park you should be okay. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
