Update: I personally discussed my "unleashed dogs on beach" experiences with Pete, the Emerald Cove Asst. Manager. Pete assured me that Emerald Cove DOES NOT allow any DOGS ON BEACH (without leash /not in custody and control). Pete told me violators could be subject to eviction from the resort. I personally have not seen Pete in action on the beach yet, but I will update my rating to 5β for now. Thanks, Pete, for listening to my questions, observations, and suggestions π β¨οΈ Sgt Barbie
I bought a package of 10 resorts for 6 years for about $7,500. If you use it, you will love it. Because you have so many choices. You can stay in many of the resorts for months which will get you out of the winters if you live up north like I do.
Beautiful park right on the Colorado River. Wild burros come through daily, and the scenery is lovely. A couple of reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: It is fairly noisy, and they definitely have a drainage issue, where rainfall just sits in the streets for days, causing a muddy mess.
Don't get talked into getting a membership. You can't see the future and the membership fees never end. Take what you would spend and save it for vacations to take where ever. Do the free or cheap stays but don't but in. You will be sorry if you can't use it for some reason and believe me they are not going to be helpful when you can't do it anymore. Don't think it is good for your kids to leave them a $500 a year membership dues even if you don't use it.
October 10th we decided to reserve a camper for October fest. They gave us a trailer to stay in. When we opened the door, I was shocked. To the right was a queen size bed with no privacy. Right in front of us was a sofa and a fridge. To the left on the right was a counter with cabinets and the smallest sink I have ever seen. A tiny toaster oven and a microwave and NO STOVE, winddono To the left was a small table and 2 little stools..Then there were bunk bed's with no windows on the top bunk, and the bottom bunks windows was covered up. No ventilation... The bathroom toilet was dirty. There was no sink in there, there fore we had to use the tiny sink in the kitchen to wash up and brush our teeth. We and everyone else who come to this park pay matinance fees every year. I hope they didn't use them to remodel the trailers, because they are the worst ever. I hope something can be done.
As members it is sad that you can not stay where you need to stay at their parks because they do not offer 50amp service. You would think when several of their parks are in the Arizona or California desert they know RVβs need to run air conditioning to survive but yet they do not offer 50amp sites. I donβt know what we pay membership fees for when you canβt go where you want to go. This is sad as a 100% disabled veteran that is on a limited income they do not disclose all of this at the time of sale. I will continue to tell people to run from Colorado River Adventures and do your research before the pressure their salespeople give you at the time of your meeting. And now to find out about a data breach and they have never contacted us about it. If we could rate a -zero we would
