We didn't stay at the campground, but we did follow the mule canyon trail to some spectacular ruins.
Great campground, big dispersed sites but ATV and SxS trailers take up the two biggest campsites near the entrance. It's not a parking lot.
Decent place to camp. Pit toilets with toilet paper... a little smelly. Picnic table at our spot had several western black widow spiders that had taken up residence there. They were docile, and only came out when the sun went down. Some southern black widows around the pit toilet and one inside that only came out at night as well. Ants loved to roam the outside of our tent and some found their way in as well. It was a decent spot overall, fairly quiet with a little road noise and a few shade trees. There were 2 pit toilets in our general vicinity, but we didn't go too far down the road.
Good spot for either rv ot tent camping. Many sites to use, and more are you drive down the road. The road is an easy drive. Some sites & side roads get sandy. At the main site there are pit toilets that are serviced regularly.
Easy access. Lots of room for any size rigs. Great staging area for access to arch canyon trail
This place is awesome. I have seen mountain lions here. Be aware of that. Fun fact: A scene in the book The Monkeywrench Gang takes place here.
