Comfy Camping Glamping Rentals at Alafia River State Park

Very pleased with our 18 year old daughter’s birthday celebration. We rented 2 Comfy Camping Glamping Rentals (both next to each other) for 2 nights located inside the Alafia River State Park and we couldn’t have been happier. These gorgeous bell tents are equipped with everything you need for your stay. They had toiletries, towels, extra blankets, a cooler inside each tent, games, camping kitchen with utensils, just bring your charcoal/gas, ice, food, and clothes for us to use!! Can’t wait to invite my family when they visit from Panama 🇵🇦🥰 they will get to experience the joys of camping with glam!! Thank you so much for the great customer service. I can’t say enough good things about Happy Glampers! Waking up to the sounds of the birds… *chefs kiss.* The park and the glampsites are absolutely gorgeous! Equipped with everything you may need. They truly thought of it all! The option of one or two comfortable queen size beds, games, extra towels and blankets, 4 fans, fireplace, BBQ Cabana, grill (charcoal, lighter fluid, basic seasonings, aluminum foil, plastic utensils, paper towels, marshmallow skewers, full size cooler, trash can with bags all included.) Bathrooms and showers are in sight of glampsites and very short walking distance. 15 minutes from Lithia Springs, we went there to cool down during the day. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Love everything about it! The glampsite is solar powered, make sure to bring a usb charging cord as you can only plug into bedside lamps. This is the perfect place to make beautiful memories and I will always cherish the time I had here with my family. Will be back to visit soon!

We loved our experience with comfy glamping! Very well appointed with lots of surprises extras. The beds were comfortable and clean and for the first time ever, I slept well in a tent. Will go back if I have an opportunity.

We stayed at site A over Labor Day weekend and it was great! We went with our 3 kids and dog. My kids reaction when they saw everything was PRICELESS!! They didn’t want to leave. They had everything we needed from games/books for the kids to pans to cook. The bed is plush, so if you like a firm mattress you may not like it. The fans provided were sufficient at night given the time of year for Florida, and at some point I was even covering up. The bath house is a short walk (just on the opposite side of the round about). The dumpsters for the entire camping area is right next to this site and I was worried about that when I initially saw it, but we had no issues with bad odors or critters roaming around (that we noticed). Previous campers leave things so you pretty much want for nothing minus your food/water/clothes. All our kids are under 8, and it was nice we could let them ride their bikes freely around the round about. Any cars drive slow and seem pretty cautious, which was mostly during the morning/early evening when campers were arriving/leaving. One of the only bad things, if I had to choose something, would be that there is pretty much no shade at these tent sites. All the RV sites have trees and such for solid shade. The white shells used at the campsites reflect that heat too, which doesn’t help. You can tell the owners try to provide as much shade as possible, but it minimally works and sun is filtered at what feels like maybe 50-75%. The tent becomes a stinkin’ oven during the day, so don’t try to cool down in there. The temp was around 95 F with heat index at about 110F one day, which was brutal. There is a nearby spring (Lithia Springs Park), they have 2 swim times, just FYI they sell out early! Learn from us and buy early. Our solution, the camp site has a water hose and hook up, so we took the water hose over to the picnic area (next to bath house, across round about) and let the kids play in that to cool down. They loved it, simple things in life are the best! We hung out there during the hottest part of the day since the shade was better. Kept ourselves busy with cards, games and chalk. Had we not had kids, I would’ve just rode my bike all day and been in the shade trees to not have to worry about it. But y’all, who goes camping during SUMMER IN FLORIDA?! Well, we were crazy enough to. But we don’t regret it at all though, beating the heat was worth the great family time together, making memories, and escaping from the daily life of electronics (minus the giant inflatable screen/ projector we brought for movie night, which we plugged into my husband’s truck). I highly recommend using Comfy Camping Glamping Rentals at Alafia, and we plan on doing it again! Side note: the state park bathroom/shower is what you’d typically expect from a state park and I saw park staff cleaning daily.

We really enjoyed our stay at the glamping tents. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfy, and the campsite was fully stocked. There was wood to use, plates/cups/utensils, large cooler, queen bed, extra mats to sleep on, grills/stove-top burner… it was great! We’ll definitely be going back!
